The short answer

Managed IT for the Triangle, priced in the open.

We run managed IT for small and mid-sized groups across Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, and Research Triangle Park, usually 10 to 500 staff. The IT Partnership bundles your help desk, systems, network, a named IT manager, quarterly strategy, and security into one flat fee. The price is published: $150 to $250 per user per month, with 15 to 20% off for nonprofits.

Here is what most Triangle providers will not put in writing: a 15-minute response guarantee, a 100% satisfaction promise, named techs who learn your setup, a set on-site schedule from our Durham office, and pricing you can see before anyone calls you. Not ready for a partnership? You can start with project work at $150 to $250 an hour. Both paths are below.

The local context

Built for the Triangle's actual mix

The big names (SecureWorks, IBM, Red Hat, the biotech anchors, the defense corridor) leave a rich small-business and nonprofit world around them. That is our zone.

Biotech & life sciences

GLP and 21 CFR Part 11 setups, lab instrument integration, regulated data. We work next door to the Triangle's biggest biotech employers.

Defense manufacturing & gov contractors

CMMC readiness, NIST 800-171, secure enclave design. The Triangle is a real defense-tech corridor, and we have been in it.

Professional services & smaller firms

Law, accounting, design, and consulting. Tight teams, tight margins, no patience for a four-vendor IT story.

Nonprofits & associations

A surprising number of associations and foundations call the Triangle home. Same playbook as our DC nonprofit practice.

Two paths

Pay by the project, or by the partnership

We will not push the partnership when project work fits better. Here is how to think about it.

By the project

Hourly and fixed-fee work

For one-off jobs, audits, migrations, or backing up an existing IT lead. Most jobs wrap in one to four weeks.

Questions

About IT in the Triangle

How much do managed IT services cost in Raleigh?
Our IT Partnership runs $150–$250 per user per month, published openly on our pricing page. It covers help desk, systems administration, managed network, a named virtual IT manager, quarterly vCIO strategy, and ATM cybersecurity in one flat fee. Triangle nonprofits receive 15–20% discounts. Scoped project work is $150–$250/hour if you're not ready for a partnership.
What response times can Triangle businesses expect?
We put it in writing: a 15-minute response guarantee, backed by a 100% satisfaction commitment and pricing published on our site. In practice our average response is about 6 minutes. Plenty of Raleigh MSPs quote fast averages. The difference is the guarantee, the satisfaction commitment, and rates you can see before anyone calls you, all together.
Do you offer co-managed IT for Triangle organizations with internal IT staff?
Yes. Many RTP-corridor companies and Raleigh nonprofits have a one- or two-person IT team that's stretched thin. In a co-managed arrangement your staff keep what they do best and we take the rest: overflow help desk, after-hours coverage, Microsoft 365 and Azure administration, security tooling, patching, and project capacity. The split is defined in writing during onboarding, and your IT lead stays in charge.
Do you actually have a Raleigh / Triangle presence?
Yes. Our Triangle office is at Imperial Business Park, 4819 Emperor Boulevard. On-site dispatch covers Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, RTP, Wake Forest, Apex, and Morrisville. The same named-technician model as our DC operation.
What's the difference between project rates and the IT Partnership?
Project work is hourly or fixed-fee, scoped per engagement. Standard project rate is $150–$250/hr; solutions architect is $250/hr; on-site day rate is $1,400. The IT Partnership is a per-user-per-month subscription that covers Help Desk, Systems Admin, Managed Network, vITM, vCIO, and ATM cybersecurity. Most orgs over 25 people fit the partnership; smaller teams often start with project work.
Do you work with the big Triangle employers?
We don't serve Fortune 500s. That's not our model. Our work in the Triangle is with the smaller and mid-sized organizations downstream of the big employers: SecureWorks, IBM, Red Hat, biotech anchors, and the defense-tech corridor all have rich SMB ecosystems around them. That's our zone.
Can you handle CMMC and NIST work?
Yes. CMMC readiness assessments, gap remediation, and ongoing compliance management. We pair with a third-party C3PAO for the formal assessment, so we don't self-attest. See /industries/government for the depth on this.
How do I know if project rates or partnership fits us?
Book a 30-minute consult and we will help you frame it. If you're under 25 people or you have ad-hoc needs, project rates probably fit. If you're 25+ and want predictable monthly IT, the partnership math usually wins. We'll tell you straight.
